Brush Program
2025 Brush Pick-Up Dates
April 7-11
May 5-9
September 8-12
October 6-10
Addison Township offers a brush program as a service to residents in the unincorporated areas. DuPage County has not directed the Township to offer these services, and the Township is not reimbursed by the County for the cost of supplying them. Therefore, we ask for your cooperation in following the guidelines.
We have a brush chipper designed to chip those limbs and branches that do not qualify as YARD WASTE. Our equipment is not designed to grind small twigs and evergreen trimmings. Your garbage service will take yard waste and roots for a nominal cost. IF IT CAN BE PUT INTO A BAG, IT IS YARD WASTE.
IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for homeowners to follow the guidelines issued by the Highway Department in the spring of each year. These guidelines are for protecting our equipment and in the interests of worker safety, which also helps expedite the program.
