2027 Contract for Services

The Addison Township Mental Health Board (ATMHB) is accepting applications for its 2027 Contract for Services funding cycle. Funding is available to support programs and services that improve the mental health and well-being of Addison Township residents.

Eligible Organizations

Applicants must be one of the following:

  • 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
  • Government entity

Applicants must provide services that directly benefit Addison Township residents. 

Application Submission: Applications must be completed and submitted directly by an authorized representative of the applicant organization. Applications submitted by a third-party organization or by an individual who is not authorized to represent the applicant will be deemed ineligible and automatically denied.

  • Government Entity Applicants: Government entities seeking funding must submit applications directly to the Addison Township Mental Health Board. If awarded funding, the government entity must execute an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the Addison Township Mental Health Board before a Contract for Services is executed.
  • 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Applicants: Nonprofit organizations awarded funding must execute an Agreement with the Addison Township Mental Health Board before funds are released.

Service Priorities

Applications should address one or more of the following areas:

  • Mental Health: Prevention and treatment services.
  • Developmental Disabilities: Support and resources for individuals and families.
  • Substance Use: Prevention, treatment, or recovery programs.

Allowable Costs

Funding may be requested for reasonable and necessary direct project costs, including:

  • Personnel and Fringe Benefits
  • Travel
  • Supplies
  • Training and Education
  • Other Direct Costs

The following costs are not allowable:

  • Indirect or administrative costs
  • Occupancy costs
  • Equipment purchases or capital expenditures

Application Submission

Applications must be submitted electronically through the ATMHB Foundant Grant Lifecycle Manager by 11:59 PM on August 31, 2026. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

The ATMHB reserves the right to request additional information during the application review process.

The ATMHB reserves the right to determine applicant eligibility and reject any application that does not meet the eligibility requirements or other requirements set forth in this Notice of Funding Opportunity.

Fourth Round of Grant Applications are Now Open

The Addison Township Mental Health Board is now accepting Round 4 grant applications from governmental agencies serving residents of Addison Township. Funding supports programs that address mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders within the Township.

The ATMHB is seeking to fund innovative and new programs that respond to current and emerging community needs, particularly those that improve access, expand service delivery, and strengthen the behavioral health system for Addison Township residents.

Funding Period

June 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026

  • Application Deadline: March 31, 2026
  • Board Presentations: April 15, 2026
  • Award Announcements: May 20, 2026

Funding Priorities

Applications must address at least one of the following areas:

  • Mental Health: Prevention or treatment services
  • Developmental Disabilities: Supports and resources for individuals and families
  • Substance Use: Prevention, treatment, or recovery services

Additionally, ATMHB encourages proposals that:

  • Pilot new initiatives
  • Expand innovative service models
  • Address gaps in the current behavioral health system
  • Respond to emerging trends and unmet needs in the community

Eligibility

To qualify for Round 4, applicants must:

  • Be a governmental agency
  • Use 100% of awarded funds exclusively for Addison Township residents
  • Maintain residency documentation for all clients served
  • Sign the ATMHB funding contract and provide a current Certificate of Insurance
  • Submit service documentation for reimbursement
  • Submit a Final Report by the last business day of December 2026

Note: This round is specifically dedicated to governmental agencies.
