Christmas Tree Recycling Program

Addison Township will once again offer its Christmas Tree Recycling Program for residents. From December 26, 2025, through January 14, 2026, residents may drop off real, natural Christmas trees for environmentally friendly mulching.

Drop-Off Location

Addison Township Highway Department
411 W. Potter St., Wood Dale
A clearly marked drop-off area will be located in the front parking lot.
This is a self-service program, available 24 hours a day.

Preparation Guidelines

  • Remove all ornaments, decorations, tinsel, and string lights
  • Do not bag the tree
  • No artificial trees—only real trees can be accepted
